Gerald (Jerry) Calise, 72, of Millville, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Jerry was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 23, 1952 to Francis and Florence. He grew up in Highland Park, NJ.  He raised his family in Spotswood, NJ, where he was the owner and president of Jerry’s Home Improvements for 20 years.  He was a resident of Millville, NJ for the past seven years where he was a devoted member of Lighthouse Church of God.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  At various points in his life, he loved watching the NY Giants, NY Yankees, and NJ Devils, liked to fish, sing, and was always quick with a joke.
 
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Bette Calise, in 2008.  Together they lovingly raised three children – Joan Marie, Tom, and Jerry - and had three grandchildren: Anthony, Anabelle, and Billy. 

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Ellen. When he married Ellen in 2009, he became a father to Ellen’s children, Tiffanie, Misty, and David and a grandfather to Rianna, Naiya, Jordan, Ian, and Harry.
 
Jerry was a devout Christian who cherished his close relationship with Jesus.  He studied theology and Bible study to better understand the Lord’s word.
 
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Lighthouse Church of God, located at 1727 East Broad Street Millville, NJ 08332.  Donations may be made in Jerry's memory to your choice of charities for cancer research.  Memories of Gerald and condolences to his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
