George Cuccia Obituary

George Cuccia, 75, passed away on May 10th, 2024 after a lengthy illness, A life-long resident of Millville, he was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1968 until he was honorably discharged in 1972. He was employed for many years at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and later worked in security. He had a great interest in music and worked as a part-time disc jockey for a number of years where he enjoyed sharing his extensive music collection with others. He was also a devout fan of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, and NASCAR.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Peter Forcinito, nieces Cammy Trivellini (Robert) and Rosalie Forcinito (Bob Mannino), nephew Anthony Forcinito, and great-nieces Lara and Gina Trivellini. He is also survived by his cousin and good friend George J. Cuccia, along with many other cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary, and sister Rose Forcinito.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Trench Rd., Bridgeton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Millville Army Air Field Museum, 1 Leddon St., Millville, NJ 08332. Memories of George and condolences for his family may be shared on the tribute wall.
