Frank Mackie Sr. of Vineland, passed away Friday morning, July 21 2023, just one day after his 91st birthday at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland after an extended illness.
Born in Vineland to the late Bruce and Charlotte (Fisher) Mackie, he attended Vineland Public Schools, and was a life long resident.
For over 40 years Frank and his late wife Beatrice owned and operated Don B. Franks Carpet and Cleaning Services in Millville. Prior to that, Frank worked for Rutgers, and then Crown Clothing in Vineland.
Frank's free time was spent fishing, golfing, flying, riding motorcycles and all types of boating activities.
Frank will be sadly missed by his children, Frank Mackie Jr. and his wife Patti of Millville, and his daughter Donna Lynn Nardi and her husband Frank of Vineland; four grandchildren, Shannon Mackie, Brittany Coslop, Brian Nardi and Francis Nardi II and his wife Shannon; and two great grandchildren, Salvatore Nardi and Rylee Nardi. He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice (Brown) in 2011; and his siblings, Bruce Mackie, Calvin Mackie, Mary Ellis and Catherine Mackie.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
