Frances M. (Sutton) Shaffer

Frances M. Shaffer, age 85, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2023 at the Genesis Millville Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was the companion of the late Bob Horton. She is the loving mother of Dawn Mays (Belford), the late Carol Shaffer, the late Jesse Shaffer, and the late Bruce Querns. She is the proud grandmother of Brian (Carol), Tiffany (Kevin), Randy (Heather), Brittany, Sharon, Tina, Walt Sr., and Cheryl; great-grandmother of Anna, Aiden, Kevin, Emma, Nathan, Luke, Liam, Daniel, KJ, Alyssa, Junior, Devonte, Regina, Walt, and Ellis. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her grand-dog Chloe.

Frances was born in Millville and was a lifelong resident. She worked at Kerr Glass for many years, before going on to work at the Millville Diner. She enjoyed word find puzzles, country line dancing, playing Bingo, and Betty Boop. More than anything, she loved her grandkids and taking them to Fortescue.

Cremation will be held privately. Memories and condolences may be shared with her family on the tribute wall.
