Frances M. Hurley, age 75, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at the Lincoln Specialty Care Facility in Vineland, NJ after an extended illness. She was previously a resident of the Maurice House in Millville, NJ.
She was born, raised and lived her entire life in Millville, NJ. Daughter of Jerry Hurley and Mamie DeFeo, raised by Katherine and John Torrelli. She was a life long member of the All Saints Parish (formerly St. Mary Magdalen), where she was an active parishioner. She was an avid reader, loved to bake, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. During healthier times, she enjoyed working out, attending plays, movies, and a hot air balloon ride.
She worked for Prudential in Millville, where she had a 40 year career. After retiring, she worked part-time for Kejzman Hospitality until her illness.
She is survived by several cousins, Hal and Cathy Moretto of Middletown, DE, Joe and Nancy Moretto, John Moretto of Wilmington, DE, Joe and Kimberley Moretto and family of Hockessin, DE, life long friend Ann Brooks and husband Frank, Joseph and Delores Avin, and additional family in the Millville area.
There will be a viewing on Monday, Nov. 25 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Parish of All Saints, 621 Dock St., Millville, NJ 08332.
