Fay L. (Bostic) Fox, age 83 of Millville, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at the Atlantic City Medical Center, Mainland Division, Pomona after a lengthy illness.
Born and raised in Millville, she graduated from Millville High School, class of 1947.
For 25 years, Mrs. Fox owned Fay's Beauty Salon in Millville, where she worked as a hair stylist. For the next 25 years she owned and operated Fox's Florist in Millville and retired.
Mrs. Fox was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Millville, and she was on the Administrative Board. She enjoyed doing crafts, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Fox is survived by two daughters, Debbie Pittenger and her husband Earl of Millville, and Connie Eckbold and her husband Harold of Egg Harbor Twp.; one brother Robert Bostic and his wife Ruth of Millville; three grandchildren, William Schwegel, Christopher Pittenger, and Jonathan Eckbold; and one great grandchild, Eleanor Schwegel. She was predeceased by her husband Milton H. Fox in 1996.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Second Street, Millville. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Fay Fox Memorial Fund, c/o Ocean City Home Bank, 331 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225.
