Ernest P. Miller II, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Ernest was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born in New York, Ernest was a longtime resident of Millville, NJ, before relocating to Shamokin, PA, 15 years ago. He was a dedicated maintenance mechanic, proudly working for Local 54 in Atlantic City, NJ, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft.

Ernest had a passion for fixing things, always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. In his younger days, he enjoyed the thrill of hunting and the joy of exploring flea markets.

Ernest was preceded in death by the love of his life, Elaine Miller, with whom he shared many cherished years since their marriage on April 4, 1959. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, his brothers Albert Miller and Daniel Wilson, and his sisters Elva Morey and Mary Robinson.

He is survived by his loving sons, Ernest III, Frank, Anthony, John, Brian, and Dennis Miller, who will carry on his legacy. Ernest was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear sister, Tina Lloyd.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Ernest's life will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Millville, NJ, on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Ernest are invited to attend and pay their respects. Memories of Ernest and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall, where his life and legacy will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
