Emilia (Zagwoski) Sienczenko, age 87 of Vineland, passed away Thursday morning, October 10, 2013 at The Memorial Hospital of Salem County.
Born in Poland, she moved to Germany at the age of 15. She met her husband in Austria and lived in Russia for ten years. Mrs. Sienczenko moved to the Ukraine, and then lived in Poland for five years, before settling in Bethlehem, PA. For the next ten years, she lived in Utica, NY before making Vineland her home for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending the winter months in Port Charlotte, FL, and North Port, FL.
Mrs. Sienczenko was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Millville, and she loved flowers and gardening.
Mrs. Sienczenko is survived by her two sons, Walter and wife Candie of Vineland, and Anthony and wife Nina of Buena; three grandsons, Michael, Johnny and Anatoli; one great granddaughter Cynthia; her step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, especially Ashley who was dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1981; her parents, Michael and Kathryn Zagwoski; and two brothers, Walter and Michael Zagwoski.
