Elise J. Winton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2nd, 2026. Born in Millville, NJ, Elise was a longtime resident of Ocean City, NJ.

Elise dedicated many years of her professional life as a secretary at Kerr Glass in Millville, NJ, where she was known for her diligence and warm spirit.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank M. Winton, with whom she shared a passion for travel. Together, they spent summers in the serene landscapes of Maine and winters soaking up the sun in Florida. Elise found joy in fishing and being on the water, often spending peaceful days on their boat. During the last several years Elise decorated her home and dressed the part of an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Axel Johnson III. Elise is survived by her loving sisters, Corinne Fithian and Millicent Wallace. She also leaves behind her stepdaughter, Linda (Steve), along with many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ, on Thursday February 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. Elise will be laid to rest privately at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville, NJ.  Elise's family invites you to share your memories and condolences on her tribute wall, celebrating the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elise's memory to Help & Hope Ministries Food Bank, 214 Howard St., Millville, NJ.
