Elga E. (Hoffman) Schipane

Elga E. Schipane (nee Hoffman), age 72, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Thursday November 9, 2023 at her home. She is the beloved wife of William Schipane. Loving mother of Beth (Colby) Weiss and Laura Schipane. Proud grandmother of Gregory and Sebastian. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her siblings Rhoda, Annamae, Wanda, and Lemuel. She was predeceased by her parents Laura (nee Kessler) and John Hoffman.

Elga was born in Millville and was a lifetime resident of the city. She worked at Prudential for 26 years, before moving on to Sun National Bank in Vineland, where she worked as a loan clerk for 15 years.

Elga was a longtime parishioner of All Saints Church in Millville. She had worked part time at the church, and was a former member of the church choir.

Relatives and friends are invited to join with Elga’s family for a viewing on Thursday November 16, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. A mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am the All Saints Parish, Buck and Depot St., Millville. Interment will follow the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville.
