Edward Charles Simpkins, age 55 of Egg Harbor City and formerly of Millville, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Cape May Court House, Edward grew up in the Millville area and graduated from Millville High School, class of 1978. He then became disabled and lived in the Harbor Hall Boarding Home in Egg Harbor City.
Edward enjoyed music, especially rock music, and he was an organ donor.
Edward is survived by his mother Vaughnie Wiltin of Millville; his father Earl Simpkins of Millville; his sister Penny Knecht and husband Jeffrey of Millville; and one niece Payton Knecht of Millville.
Private funeral services were held in the Christy Funeral, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be private at a later date.
