Edward O'Grady Obituary

Edward W. O’Grady, age 77, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2024 at home with his beloved wife by his side.

Edward was born in Rochester, NY, and was a longtime Millville resident. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Edward proudly served in the United States Navy from 1969-1971 and again from 1981-1985. He went on to work at Wheaton Glass in Millville for many years, working his way up to Inventory Analyst, and he retired in 2014.

Edward was a member of the Reserve Officers Association of the United States of America (ROA), where he was a past president of the South Jersey Atlantic Chapter #1. He was a senior member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, serving as president of the Philadelphia section from 1998-1999. He was also a member of the National Association of Purchasing Managers and a past Senior Vice Commander of the VFW Post 307, Rochester, NY.

Edward leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Maria O’Grady (nee Barbato), his beloved daughters Shannon O’Grady (Brooks Anderson) and Kerry Duncan (Brian), and his treasured grandchildren Lachlan, Isla, Rona, and Stellan. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his brother Arthur O’Grady (Margaret), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
