Edward James Beswick Obituary

Edward "Eddie" James Beswick, age 49 of Millville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home after a brief illness.
Born in Millville, he grew up in Dividing Creek, and graduated from Millville High School, class of 1983.
For the past 12 years, Eddie worked for J. Rhubart Construction as a carpenter. Prior to that, he worked for Phil Berry Construction for several years.
He was actively involved with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, No. 1836 of Millville, where he held the positions of former secretary and former Vice President, prior to being the current President. He was a member of local pool leagues and dart leagues. Eddie was an avid hunter, and he enjoyed fishing, all Philadelphia sports teams, NASCAR, playing horseshoes and wood working projects. He was always very proud of his vegetable garden each year. He will be sadly missed.
Eddie is survived by his fiancée Gloria Cimino of Millville; his parents, Edward H. and Dorothy A. (Remetta) Beswick of Millville; his brother Darren John Beswick of Opelika, AL; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog Maggie May.
A celebration of life and burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
