Dorothy Karpolorich, age 91 of Millville passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday evening, April 8, 2025 at the home of her great nephew Luke and his wife Rebecca in Vineland after a brief illness.
Born in Claymont, DE to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Sutock) Karpolorich, she grew up in Carmel and graduated from Bridgeton High School, Class of 1951.
Dorothy began working as a seamstress at Seibel and Stern Clothing Factory in Bridgeton. She continued her education by studying classes in accounting, and soon started her 40 year career in the accounts receivable department with Wheaton Glass Company in Millville.
Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, canning her pickles and tomato sauce, working in her yard, and watching documentaries on her television.
Dorothy is survived by her sister Dolores Guerreo; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Mistrangelo, Walter, Abe and Frank.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. A funeral service will begin at 11a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. In memory of Dorothy, her family requests memorial contributions to The Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247 or to the charity of one's choice.
