Dolores (Errickson) Adams

Dolores Adams, age 89, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026. Dolores was a lifelong resident of Millville, NJ, where she was born and raised, and where she created a warm and welcoming home for all who knew her.

Dolores was preceded in death by her loving parents, Leon and Henrietta Errickson. She is survived by her devoted sons, David, Ivan, and Eric (Michele) Adams. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Kelly, David, Kevin (Gabby), Deric (Danielle), and Nikki Adams, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Kelly, Aubrey, Austin, Dominic, and Travis.

A dedicated cook, Dolores spent many years working at the NJ Veteran's Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ, where she shared her culinary talents and warm spirit with countless individuals. Her home was always open to friends and family, who were often treated to her famous chicken popeye, baked goods, and Texas cake. Dolores had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, and her home was a gathering place filled with laughter, music, and the timeless tunes of Elvis.

Dolores was known for her love and kindness, her stubborn yet silly nature, and her ability to surprise those around her with her adventurous spirit. Her family fondly remembers the late breakfasts shared on weekends and the joy she brought into their lives.

A graveside service to honor Dolores's life will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 601 W. Main St., Millville, NJ, on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of so many. Memories of Dolores and condolences for her family may be shared on her tribute wall.
