Diane A. "Pineapple" Arkainno, age 69, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. Diane was born in Philadelphia, PA, grew up in Vineland, NJ, and lived in Brooklyn, NY for many years before moving back to Cumberland County.

Diane was a beloved sister, companion, and friend. She is survived by her sister Rose (Owen) Layton, sister Helen Barker-Zerillo, longtime companion Myrick Ashburn, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Samuel Arkainno, mother Mollie Lang, foster parents Murray and Belle Bard, siblings Jack Arkainno, Cynthia Bard-Powell, and Dug Bard.

Diane worked as a custodian for the City of New York in New York, NY. In her free time, she loved animals, especially her dog Penny, collecting anything with elephants on it, watching wrestling and old TV shows like Maude, and playing Candy Crush on her phone. She was the self-proclaimed "cute one" of her family, though they lovingly called her the "crazy one."

Services for Diane will be held privately. Memories and condolences for her family may be shared on her tribute wall.
