Derek T. Lane, age 57, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Thursday November 16, 2023 after a 3 year battle with cancer.  He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Lane (nee Demaree).  He is the loving father of Christie Lane and Derek Lane II; and step-father of Michael Dimacale.  Proud grandfather of Eliza Lane.  He is the son of the late Melvin Lane and is also survived by his mother Patsy Lane, siblings Linda Murphy-Lawrence (Bob Lawrence) and Gregory Lane, one niece, two nephews, one great-niece, two great-nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Derek was born in Bridgeton, NJ and was a longtime resident of Millville.  He most recently worked for Durand Glass/ARC International as a machine repair person.  Derek loved hunting and fishing, as well as watching the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cremation will be handled privately. An intimate memorial and luncheon for family and friends will be held at American Legion, 220 Buck Street, Millville, NJ on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm.  Memories and condolences may be shared with Derek's family on his tribute wall.
