Dennis W. Yunk

Dennis W. Yunk, age 65 of Millville passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, after a brief illness.

Dennis was born in Millville to the late Preston and Lois (Myers) Yunk, and he was a lifelong resident. For 20 years Dennis worked for Gorton's Seafood in Millville as the Sanitation Supervisor. Over the next ten years, he worked for Kane Steel in Millville. Dennis was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He thoroughly enjoyed music and dancing playing golf, cards, darts, shooting pool and going to the horse races at Atlantic City Racetrack, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Dennis will be sadly missed by his wife Maryanne Tappen; daughter Amy Yunk and her husband Michael Anderson; brother Gerry Yunk; grandson Nicholas Anderson; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Larry Yunk and Lillian Roth. A Funeral Service will begin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad Street, Millville, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
