Deborah Sue Fox

 Deborah Sue (Fox) Bassett, age 63 of Millville, passed away April 18th, 2023 peacefully at her residence in Millville.

 Born in Elmer and raised in Vineland to the late Norman Fox and Barbara (Scull) Fox, she attended Schalick High School.  Deborah worked at Kimble, Wheaton, and Marleen Package.  Deborah was well-known by many as “Debbi” or “Debbi-do.”  Deborah would drop whatever she was doing to help anyone.  She enjoyed shopping, swimming, trips to Pennsylvania, spending time with family and friends, and most importantly, being surrounded by her grandchildren.  Deborah always loved going to the flea market and yard sales. 

 Deborah will greatly be missed by her children, Stephany Taylor (David) of Millville and Samantha Taylor (Tom) of Millville; her stepson Steven Taylor Jr. of Dividing Creek; her siblings, Darlene Fox (Melissa) of Millville, Mary Santini (Lisa) of Florida and Nancy Fox of Millville; her five grandchildren, Alana, Lena’Mae, Maya, T.J, and Sophia; her nephews, Bryan, Michael, and Edwin and nieces Shania and Harlee.  She is predeceased by her father Norman Fox, her mother Barbara (Scull) Fox, and her Husband James Bassett.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
