David Wesley Fresne Obituary

  David Wesley Fresne age 82 of Vineland passed away Monday evening, October 30, 2023 at the Cumberland Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bridgeton.  He had been in declining health for the past two years.
  David was born in Newfield to the late Clifford Calvin and Ethel May (Wellman) Fresne.  He grew up in Franklinville and graduated from Delsea Regional High School.  
  David served four years during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corps as a mechanic.  He was the recipient of a Good Conduct Medal and a Markmanship Badge Rifle.
  He returned to Cumberland County before moving to PA, where he worked at a Ford Dealership, as well as with his father on his farm.  He then moved back to Vineland and worked for Airwork Corp. in Millville as a mechanic and retired.  
  He was a member of the Fairton Christian Center, and was an avid hunter.
  David is survived by his five children, David, Diane, Dale, Deborah and Denise; two siblings, Calvin Clifford Fresne, and Bertha Elizabeth Naze; his grandchildren; his special cousin Denise Hall; and many beloved friends.  He was predeceased by his cousin Ruth McGee.  
  A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date at the Fairton Christian Center.  
  In memory of David and in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Fairton Christian Center, 199 Fairton-Millville Road, Fairton, NJ 08320.
