Daniel Robert Firus Jr., aged 66, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2024, in Millville. Born on November 17, 1957, Danny, as he was affectionately known, was a gentle and creative soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Danny graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1977. His career spanned various fields; he worked at Foster Forbes/ Kerr Glass for many years until its closure. He briefly lived and worked in Florida as a security guard before returning to New Jersey, where he drove a truck for Bradway Trucking and later, delivered plants for Ivy Acres of NJ. In his later years, Danny dedicated himself to caring for his beloved mother.

A passionate artist, Danny often drew inspiration from his surroundings. His love for travel took him to destinations like Hawaii, the United Kingdom, and the Emerald Isles. An avid fan of science fiction, he collected numerous DVDs, celebrating his favorite movies and TV shows. Danny cherished the outdoors, frequently seen riding his motorcycle or fishing aboard his boat, the "Lady J." An avid reader, he enjoyed books on art, science, and building.

Danny is survived by his mother, Lillian Firus; his brother, Bruce Firus and his wife, Dawn; his sister, Brenda Boston and her husband, Stephen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel R. Firus Sr.

Services for Danny will be private.
