Coralou (Roche) Miccolis, age 73 of Millville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 13, 2013 with her family by her side.
Born in Greensboro, MD, she grew up in Millville, graduated from Millville High School, and married.
For 17 years, Mrs. Miccolis worked as a Home Health Aide for the New Jersey State Memorial Home in Vineland. She then worked as a private aide for J. Wilson for 23 years and retired.
She was best known for her feisty personality, and she was known as "Nee Nee" to her granddaughter and her friends. Mrs. Miccolis had a green thumb when it came to growing her flowers. She loved taking care of her cat, and spending time with the love of her life, her granddaughter. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and she enjoyed playing cards with the "Card Crew," and being outside and floating in her pool.
Mrs. Miccolis is survived by her daughter Jamie N. Nelson and husband David of Millville; one son Ross Messick of Millville; three sisters, Kaye Vanaman of Millville, Charlotte "Cookie" Taylor and husband Ken of Millville, and JoAnne Slimmer and husband Lynn of FLA.; one brother Joseph Roche and wife Barbara Stein of Ind., and one granddaughter Alexa Calareso of Millville.
