Christopher Rodriguez, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, left us on Sunday, February 9th, 2025. Christopher was a resident of Laurel Lake, NJ, and was born in Vineland, NJ. He was 42 years old.
Christopher dedicated his career to serving as a Corrections Officer at Bayside State Prison in Leesburg, NJ. Prior to that, he worked for the Millville Post Office.
Beyond his professional life, Christopher was a man of many passions. He was an avid gamer, with a particular fondness for the Zelda and Final Fantasy series. His love for the Philadelphia Eagles was unmatched, and he was known for his enthusiastic support of his favorite team. He will also be forever remembered for his unbridled sense of humor and infections laugh.
Christopher is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Tammy Rodriguez (nee Steiner) and his father, Ruben Rodriguez. He leaves behind his cherished children, daughter Kiera Rodriguez, son Christopher Rodriguez, Jr., and stepson Brandon Turner. He is also survived by his sister, Alexandra Rodriguez, niece Isabella, brother, Michael Rodriguez, and nephew Damian as well as his grandmother, Robin Farrah. His extended family includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his best friends Randy Pennington since their training academy, and Matt Boyd since childhood.
A private cremation will be held, and a memorial service to celebrate Christopher's life will be announced at a later date. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Christopher are invited to share their memories and condolences on the tribute wall.
