Christine E. Woods

Christine E. (Davey) Woods, age 73 of Millville passed away Wednesday evening, March 8, 2023 at Cumberland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hopewell Twp.  
 

Christine was born in Easton, PA to the late Charles and Kathryn (Hill) Davey.  She graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Abington Hospital School of Nursing before moving to New Jersey, and settling in Millville.  
 

For many years she worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for several area hospitals before her retirement.
 

Christine loved animals, riding motorcycles with her late husband Alex, and traveling, especially to Jamaica.
 

Christine will be sadly missed by her brother John Davey and his wife Helene of Lansdale, PA;  her nephews, Justin (Elizabeth, grand niece Ryan), and Matthew (Carly); her many friends and neighbors; and her loving dog Sonny.  She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. "Alex" Woods in 2011.
 

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023 in Greenwood Memorial Park, 10th & Broad Streets, Millville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
