Charles W. Ford departed this life on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. Charles was born in Bridgeton, NJ, and spent his formative years in Millville, NJ, before making Camden, NJ his home in recent years.
Charles was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his cherished children, Caitlyn Hansel, Candace Sherrouse, and Charles Ford Jr., who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He was a grandfather to seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Robin Reeves, Bob Ford Jr., Pam Austen, and Michael Ford, as well as his sister-in-law, Cindy Patrick, his lifelong best friend Eric Wilson, and many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. Ford Sr. and Charlynn Ford, and his son, Christopher Ford, whom he missed dearly.
Charles was well-liked by all who knew him and was deeply devoted to his family. His warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Though his presence will be sorely missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A private cremation will be held. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Charles and offer condolences on his tribute wall, where his life and legacy will be celebrated.
