Charles L. Smith, age 52 of Millville, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Vineland, Charles grew up in the Millville and Vineland area.
He worked as a farm worker for several local farms.
Charles enjoyed working on cars, drawing and recycling things with his late father.
He loved rock and roll music, and was fun to be around.
Charles is survived by his son Nathaniel Fraley of TN; his mother Sue (Ball) Smith of Millville; four brothers, Robert, Howard and Frank Smith, all of Millville, and Larry Smith and wife Priscilla of Millville; four sisters, Sharon Sampson and husband Robert of Millville, Debra Gibson of Millville, Connie Tiptjew and husband John of Bridgeton, and Alice Moore and husband Eugene of Dover, Del; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father James Vernon Smith in December of 2006.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
