Catherine D. (Cuccia) Stratton, age 96 of Millville, died peacefully at the Millville Center, Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013.
Born and raised in Millville, Mrs. Stratton was a lifelong resident.
For 27 years she worked for Model Blouse Co. and retired.
Many of her memberships included the Parish of All Saints in Millville, VFW-Ladies Auxiliary, Loyal Order of the Moose, RSVP, the Amalgamated Garment Union and the St. Padre Pio Senior Center. She also enjoyed volunteering at the South Jersey Hospital.
Mrs. Stratton is survived by her son John Stratton and wife Shirley of Millville; one daughter Ginger Austin and husband Alfred of Millville; one brother Frank Cuccia of Vineland; three grandchildren, Bob Heller, Susan Taylor and Scott Austin; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred; her parents, George and Rose (Parrino) Cuccia; several brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter Gina.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. There will be viewings on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville.
