Carol A. Lomberk passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 12th, 2026. A beloved resident of Vineland, NJ for over 40 years, Carol was born in Millville, New Jersey, where she spent her formative years and built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Carol dedicated 27 years of her professional life at the West Company in Millville, New Jersey. Her commitment and work ethic were admired by her colleagues and friends alike.
Carol's life was enriched by her many passions, including country line dancing, bowling, crocheting, cross stitch, assembling puzzles with her husband, camping with her husband, family and friends, as well as playing cards, shuffleboard and bocce. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren, and enjoyed games with them. She looked forward to regular Sunday dinners with her family. She was a devoted grandmother, attending every event to support her grandchildren. Carol and her husband, Ted, shared a special love for their time spent in Florida, creating countless memories together.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Theodore "Ted" Lomberk, and her loving children, Lisa Sanderlin (Dave) and Tracey Shea. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Debra Lomberk, Lisa Cody (Stuart), and Ed Lomberk. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ryan Sanderlin, Sean Sanderlin, William Shea, and Kerry Shea, as well as many step grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, Theodore Hollingshead (late Suzanne). Carol was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Hollingshead, her mother, Gertrude Hollingshead Chambers, her sister Joan Laning (Milton), her stepson Ted Lomberk.
Family and friends are invited to join together at a viewing at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ, on Friday, March 20th, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ.
