Carol Ruth Buczynski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026. Carol was a lifelong resident of Millville and graduated with the Millville Senior High School class of 1966, where she proudly served as head majorette. She continued her education and earned her associate’s degree from Cumberland County College.

Carol dedicated her career to early childhood education, nurturing young minds as a teacher at Jack and Jill Nursery School in Millville, NJ. Her passion and commitment to education left a lasting impact on her students, helping to build strong foundations that carried them far in life.

Above all, Carol cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Kelly Jennifer MacLuskie Ketchum (Ben) and Kristy MacLuskie Mrochko (Christopher). She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially caring for her three grandchildren, Brayden, Drew, and Brian Patrick Mrochko, who were the light of her life. Carol also had a deep love for animals, especially her adorable Yorkie, Benji. She treasured her wide circle of family and friends and remained actively involved with the Millville Senior High School Class of ’66 Reunion Committee, maintaining lifelong friendships and school spirit.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving parents, Nicholas and Ruth Buczynski, and her sister, Barbara Sacco (Charles). Her memory will be treasured by her surviving family and friends, who will remember her warmth, dedication, kindness, and unwavering love. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.

A visitation will be held at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ, on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 824 Carmel Rd., Millville, NJ, at 11:30 am. Interment will take place at Siloam Cemetery in Vineland, NJ.
