Barbara Inman Obituary

Barbara Ann Inman 89, most recently residing in Millville, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was born in Vineland, New Jersey, relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in the mid-70’s, eventually moving back to New Jersey.

Barbara was the mother of seven children, grandmother of nineteen, and great grandmother of twenty-two. Her family was everything to her, and that was how her free time was spent both in Florida and New Jersey. She was an avid reader and passed that love on to her children.

Barbara had a long career in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area working in the hospitality industry for places such as La Club International and the Bahai Mar Marina Inn. She was a hard and dedicated worker who managed every area from the front desk to the dining area. She expected nothing from others that she would not do herself and worked right alongside them, helping them to reach their full potential.

Once returning to New Jersey, she continued to hold positions in customer/client service at places such as Boscov’s and Walgreens. Eventually, she accepted a position with the Millville Housing Authority at Jaycee Plaza where she managed the front desk and coirdinated patient services. Barbara compationately assisted senior citizens at all stages of the aging process and was loved by all.

Barbara loved her family unconditionally. She assisted her children and grandchildren whenever she was able whether babysitting, transporting grandchildren, coming by their side during illnesses, even saving the life of one granddaughter through her support and critical advice to her daughter. She was a blessing in that situation, and so many others. Her absence will be felt with great sorrow by every family member.

Barbara will be fondly remembered for her love and caring demeanor. Her memory will be forever embedded in the hearts and minds of all those who were blessed to be touched by her life.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Delcena D. Fish (Dee) and husband Wayne of Millville, Edna Diane Gill (Eddie) of Fletcher, NC, and Susan K. Musso-Ruberti (AKA Chach) of Winter Springs, FL; three sons, Edward Donald Musso, Jr. of Ruskin, FL, Jeffrey Joseph Musso of Stuart, FL, and Timothy Walter Musso and wife Jennifer of Millville; Nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one sister, Marion Mingin, and many nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her son John Emile Musso, her mother Delcena Bibs Mascola, her father Paul Francis Inman, her brother Samual Mascola, and her beloved pet of seventeen years, Arnie.
