Arthur G. Rotondo (87) of Millville, previously of Absecon, died peacefully on July 23, 2013 at his Millville home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Arthur was born in Atlantic City, graduated from Pleasantville High School, and had a 45 year career as a meat cutter, first in his own shop in Atlantic City, followed by many years at various Acme Markets throughout South Jersey.
A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie; brother Don (Carol); daughters, Dolores Banholzer (David) and JoAnn Seiss (Allen); one son Larry (Karen); and four grandchildren, Chris and Megan Rotondo, Sarah Beth Martin (Dwight), and Kyle Seiss.
Arthur's life long hobbies were jazz music and manicuring his yard, but his true passion was his family, culminating in a three generation trip to the family birthplace in Italy in 2005. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.
