Albert Stowe, Sr.

Albert Stowe, Sr., age 90, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2023 at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, NJ. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Betty Sue Stowe (nee Price). He is the loving father of the late Albert Stowe Jr. (Susan – surviving), Darlene Barton (Stanley) and John Stowe. Albert is the proud grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of 7, and great-great grandfather of 3. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sister Emma Hannah.

Albert was born in Millville and was a lifelong resident of the city. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He went on to work as a mold maker for Wheaton Glass in Millville for 42 years.

Albert was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship in Port Elizabeth, and he loved to sing at church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was an archery instructor. He also enjoyed being outside and building things.

Relatives and friends are invited to join with Albert’s family for a viewing on Saturday November 18, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville. Memories and condolences may be shared with Albert’s family on the tribute wall.
