Agnes Margaret (Schwegel) Klawitter Beckman, age 96 of Millville passed away Sunday morning, November 23, 2025 while in the care of her loving daughter, Kathy.
Born and raised in Millville to the late Harry and Agnes (Ryan) Schwegel, she graduated from Millville High School and was a life long Millville resident.
She began working as a packer for Wheaton Glass Company in Millville before starting her family. After she raised her children Agnes decided to go back to work. For over 20 years she worked as a Medicare Claims Clerk for Prudential in Millville and retired.
Agnes was a member of the Parish of All Saints in Millville.
She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cheering for them at their swim meets and soccer games was one of her favorite pastimes.
Agnes will be sadly missed by her children, Ernest Klawitter Jr. and his wife Cheryl of MA, and Kathy Murowany and her husband Jospeh of Millville; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ernest Klawitter Sr, and Gustav Beckman; and five siblings, Ellen Gallagher, Harry Schwegel, Kathleen Gesek, Francis "Steiny" Schwegel; and William Schwegel.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. in the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville.
