Ada May “Sis” Keedy (nee Jones), age 90, of Buena Vista Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday November 9, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Sis is the daughter of the late George and Ada (nee Watson) Jones. She is the beloved wife of the late James L. Keedy Sr. She is the loving mother of Diana L. Carroll, the late James L. Keedy, Jr., Gary J. Keedy, Linda Wright, Donna J. Keedy, and the late Nancy A. Keedy. Sis is the proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her brother Harold Bardsley.
Sis was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Buena Vista Township for over 60 years. She worked in several greenhouses over the years as well as for the Stetson Hat Company, and at the Philadelphia Flower Show for many years. Her most important job, however, was raising her family. Sis was a past member of the Newtonville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, she was passionate about playing bingo and enjoyed crafts.
Cremation will be held privately. Memories and condolences of Sis may be shared on her tribute wall.
